I have had the privilege of riding the route from San Diego, through the big metal gates at the border, to Campo and on to the western end of the Goat Canyon Trestle. This was accomplished over several trips of smaller parts of the line. For our 59th anniversary I leased FDR's private car and tool 50 family members and friends from Campo to Tecate and back. I will have to search my files to find negatives of these trips so I can share them with you.
