    Tough call. Both plans are very good.

    I like the bottom half of #1 better than the bottom half of #2 (except for that switchback with the short tail servicing the packing plants), but I like the top half of #2 better than the top half of #1 (that yard in #2 seems kind of small).

    Any chance you could extend El Centro Yard a la Dave Vollmer's layout? If that were possible, then I would go with #2.
